Flugservolator gets first price!



The motion cockpit flight simulator "Flugservolator" qualifies for the finals at the German Jugend Forscht competition!

Jugend Forscht is an annually held huge German youth science project competition. This year, one of the entrants is a motion cockpit flight simulator called Flugservolator, built by Dirk Kaltenmark, Matthias Müller, Jürgen Stadelmaier and Ralph Strobel. Last week, they won the semi finals in their category "Arbeitswelt" in Baden Württemberg. Congratulations!

Flugservolator uses Silent Wings for the flight simulation and flight display, and to read flight state data for processing in the motion platform. And it is not just small movements: with this rather impressive system even complete rolls can be performed...
